Our body is
meant to move. We are designed that way.
According to
the Institute of Medicine (IOM) we are suppose to have between 30-90
minutes of moderate intensity exercise on a daily basis.
How many of
us are doing this? According to recent surveys, less than 15% of
Americans are meeting this goal.
There are so
many benefits to exercising, such as increased energy, better sleep,
improved cardiovascular function, weight management, improved self
confidence, decreased risk of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease just
to mention a few.
